Every day I explain to people: the shoulder is a hanging joint! And ANY pain in the joint or elbow or wrist and even fingers —— comes from the posterior stabilizers and the scapula

Muscles and tendons in the Posterior shoulder are the culprit for {Restriction and Pain} 9 times of 10—

If it’s bad enough? It will also pull down towards your hip, affecting your IT band and causing groin pain

We have some exciting news! After a few years, mostly due to the pandemic and family leave, of having to lapse in our major national certification, we are back in the swing of things and officially nationally recertified!

Recertification? now leads to recredentialing!! This was an arduous process that took over 7 months and almost 200 continuing education credits- plus CPR, Safety evaluations, attestations, Clean Needle certificates, Licensures, core competencies in pharmacy, biomedicine etc etc etc.

This means I am now, once again, a Nationally board certified acupuncturist which speaks to safety! Continuing education! A higher level of ‘standards of practice’!

I will be announcing shortly when we can start taking health insurance through Excellus and MVP

> face pain
> ear issues, spinning or vertigo
> shoulder pain
> elbow pain
> tight left hip
> migraine
> Bell’s palsy in some cases

This is not a cervical spine issue
This is an issue with fascia and shoulder mechanics ~> tilted scapula.

Can you see the Asymmetry? 2 sides??

The fascia around her scapula has become disorganized. It has to be broken up, strategically to ‘free the correct movement’ of the scapula and to take the tension off her neck and head.

Tension does not come from the spine~> out
Tension goes from the muscles and fascia -> in toward the midline and up towards face/head.

Over the last 17 years, I have treated so many football players and so many coaches- 2 NFL players, 3 D1 players, many D3 players and many high school and college coaches:

I want to take a minute to thank you for your dedication to the sport we all love.

Thank you for turning out disciplined young men who appreciate their families, who lift up their teammates, who listen to correction, who follow their heart, who face adversity and keep going

Some of the nicest young men to ever come through my doors are football players and I never forget that: they are a product of good coaching

All of my student athletes from Track to Dance to Baseball, Lacrosse and Hockey are outstanding kids✔️ I’m proud to know them and their families

So much of my clinic days are spent treating mild cardiac conditions: arrhythmias, pressures.. We’ve even documented increases in ejection fraction over time …

And so many of my patients are cardiac specialists, both pediatric and adult: ICU Nurses etc …
