Happiest Saint Patrick’s Day!☘️
While we celebrated our 13th Annual this year, there’s been Saint Patrick’s parades in Pittston long before any of us were around!!

Congratulations to our friends at the Scranton St Patrick Parade committee on their very successful parade yesterday, for the 64th time!

Best wishes to the committee in Wilkes Barre as they prepare for their parade today!

Another sponsor that we'd like to recognize today is Pride Mobility Products Corp.!

Pride has been a pipe & drum band sponsor for the last few years, and we couldn't be happier to have them! Thank you so much for your support!

They have been a division sponsor for almost the entire history of our parade, and we love partnering with them each year to put on another successful parade! Thank you so much, we truly appreciate your support!

Today, we'd like to thank another sponsor of our wonderful parade this past weekend!

The Greater Pittston Friendly Sons of St Patrick have been wonderful supporters of the parade, and returned again this year as a Pipe & Drum Band Sponsor.

Thank you so much for your generosity, without the support of our sponsors it would not be possible to put on such a parade!

What a great time we had at the Parade on Saturday!

We'd like to thank our sponsors in the aftermath, so over the next few days we'll be recognizing them. First, our longest standing sponsor, Reilly Associates has been a huge supporter of the parade, sponsoring a Pipe & Drum Band since year 1!

Thank you so much, we truly appreciate your long standing support!

Our leprechauns did some research and…this is the WARMEST high temperature we’ve ever had! Next was 51 degrees last year. The lowest high we had once was 24 degrees in 2017. It’s going to be a BEAUTIFUL DAY!!⛅️

Some Frequently Asked Questions:

WHAT'S THE TIMELINE OF EVENTS?!
This Saturday, March 7
Mass: 9:15 am at Saint John the Evangelist
Parade: 11:30 am

WHEN DO THE ROADS CLOSE?!
All roads near the route and the bridge leading into the City will close at 11am. Roads near the lineup area in the south end of town will close at 10:30 am.

WHERE DO I PARK?!
We have a few lots that we recommend: The Greater Pittston YMCA, Saint John's Church (2), behind City Hall, Pittston Memorial Library (SIDE AND BACK ONLY), Upper Tomato Festival Lot.
If you're planning on enjoy the festivities at our downtown bars, we strongly recommend getting a ride from a friend/family member, or using Uber/Lyft.

WHERE SHOULD I WATCH IT FROM?!
Our Parade starts at the Turkey Hill in the south end of town. It travels north on Main Street, loops onto Kennedy Boulevard at the Coal Miner Statue, then ends around Pizza Hut. We have an emcee in the Lower Tomato Festival Lot. That area of town is busiest. If you're looking for that excitement, go there. If you have little kids and want a quieter sidewalk spot, consider going to a location at the beginning or end of the route.

WHERE'S THE PORT O POTTIES?
1. At lineup, in the Anthracite Fitness Factory Parking Lot
2. In the Lower Tomato Festival Lot

HOW LONG IS THE PARADE?!
About 80 groups. We’ve noticed that it moves slower if it’s nicer out, faster if it’s cold.

Please let us know if you have any other questions. We're so excited!!
