🍏🍎Some baby foods and snacks, like cereals with rice flour or juices with apple, pear, or grape, can have lead and other heavy metals.

Lead can be dangerous for babies and make it hard for them to learn.

Try these lower-risk foods for lead:
Oatmeal, multi-grain cereal, and yogurt
Milk or water instead of fruit juice
A variety of fruits and veggies in whole or puree form

Lead can make it hard for kids to learn and pay attention. Foods high in calcium, iron, and vitamin C can help limit the amount of lead absorbed into the body.

Offer a variety of healthy foods to protect your child from the effects of lead, like:
Yogurt or oatmeal with fruit

Chicken, veggies and lentils
