The Shingle Springs Health & Wellness Center provides access to high quality health services to all people in the El Dorado county area. Owned and operated by the Shingle Springs Band of Miwok Indians, our state of the art facility specializes in the highest standards of health care though modern medicine as well as respect for cultural traditions. Our dedicated Children’s Behavioral Health team provides care that is tailored to each child's unique emotional and developmental needs, helping them build confidence, coping skills, and healthy relationships.

We provide support and resources to patients and their families in a welcoming and stigma free environment. We specialize in children and families seeking support with anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, social and behavioral concerns, clinical assessment, medication management, and more.

On behalf of our Outreach Department, we would like to spread the word that Friday, Feb. 6, is National Wear Red Day.

Our staff is encouraged to wear red on Friday in support of Women’s Heart Health and we'd love to see posts of you wearing red as well to spread awareness. Tag us or share in the comments.

Heart disease remains the number one cause of death among women. However, research shows that up to 87% of heart disease is preventable through education, prevention, and early intervention. National Wear Red Day—observed on the first Friday of February—helps bring visibility to this important issue and encourages healthy conversations within our community.

By wearing red, we show our support for:
- Women’s heart health
- Prevention and education
- Community awareness and wellness

Thank you for helping us raise awareness and support healthier hearts.
