16 nurses from various Alden facilities invested a full 8 hours advancing their clinical skills through our IV Therapy Class, delivered by your PICC Team.

Yesterday, 13 dedicated nurses, from different Alden facilities, participated in and successfully completed the 8-hour IV Therapy Class conducted by The Picc Team.

Fantastic Day at Riverbluff Nursing Home in Rockford IL🎉

Seventeen dedicated and passionate nurses came together yesterday to complete the PICC TEAM comprehensive IV Therapy Training.
This hands-on program equipped them with in-depth knowledge, advanced techniques, and the confidence to provide safe and effective IV therapy for their patients.
They also gained valuable skills in the care and maintenance of different IV lines, ensuring best practices for patient safety and quality outcomes.

This class was proudly sponsored by Nursing Home and Winnebago County, and we’re especially thankful to Forum Extended Care Services Pharmacy for referring us for this training.

We had the privilege of providing a full-day IV Therapy Certification Class for several talented nurses from ALIYA Healthcare and they ALL successfully completed the training!

A special highlight of the day was Aliya Healthcare’s CEO Efriam Weinfeld stopping by to encourage the nurses and emphasize the importance of investing in their education and professional growth.

Cardiac Program Education:

It was an honor to provide clinical education today to the nursing team at Pearl of Evanston, supporting their efforts in enhancing cardiac care for their residents.

As someone who began building cardiac programs in skilled nursing over 25 years ago during my time as a Director of Nursing, it’s rewarding to now be in a position to share that knowledge and experience and help equip today’s nurses with best practices in vascular access, line care, and infusion safety.
