These bars are made with a combination of lard and tallow, both of which have great skin benefits, along with coconut, olive and avocado oils which are nourishing and conditioning to the skin. I belong to a soap group that gives me access to a club called the Soap Challenge Club. Every month there is a different design challenge presented and judged. It is a great learning opportunity and it is fun! This months design is called a Spoon Plop design and it is exactly what the name implies. You wait for the perfect thickness and then plop your blobs of soap in the mold however you want. In doing the first one, I realized how fun it was and proceeded to make 3! Only one could be entered, but I think all 3 are fun colors and designs!

I read in a group that many people love coconut oil soap. So I decided to do a test. I love coconut oil for so many things. It is a healthy oil for cooking with, it has many great qualities in skin care and I put a small amount in my dogs food for the health benefits. The soap turned out great, I love the whiteness of the bars and the lather is phenomenal. It will be fun to see if that gets even better with curing.

Ever tried lard soap? It’s actually great for your skin. This bar is made with 95% lard and 5% castor oil with kaolin clay and full fat goat milk powder. I could not help myself, lard soap had to have pig embeds in it! 😉

I am waiting for some smear proof labels but I wanted to share some lucious and luxurious items I have for a spa basket. On the left is a combination of oils that seriously feel like silk on your skin. This is a 4 oz bottle but I have an 8 oz size too. This is a combination of fast absorbing skin loving oils including coconut oil, sunflower oil, safflower oil, sweet almond oil, apricot kernel oil, avocado oil, and jojoba oil. These oils seriously feel like silk on your skin and are great for people who struggle with dry skin. Used in conjunction with the body cream, it’s a win-win. The body cream is a goat milk lotion, very creamy, fast absorbing and softening for your skin. The little tree ornament is filled with bubbly bath salts, including epsom salt. Scented with peppermint it’s a single use container and gives you a skin softening soak. The solid lotion bar is made with luxury butters to soften your skin. Comes in a little tin to have handy on the table where you watch tv or your bedside so you can just grab it and use where you need. Melts in your hands from your body heat. Great to throw in your purse!! I have bigger sizes of all except the solid lotion bar. Any questions, please message me!!
