COVID-19 Community Testing Site Announcement.

https://www.plainsboronj.com/DocumentCenter/View/11282/Community-COVID-19-Testing-Site-Announcement

Penn Medicine Princeton Health in collaboration with Carbon Health and Flow Health are excited to partner with Plainsboro Township to provide free, accessible, reliable COVID-19 testing for anyone who may need it.

A community COVID-19 testing site will open on Monday, January 17, 2022 at the Princeton Alliance Church in Plainsboro, NJ. The site will be operational Monday through Friday from 8 am until 4 pm. Individuals seeking a COVID-19 test should follow the instructions below to register.

How to test:
Getting tested is easy. You can pre-register using this registration link or simply walk in and a staff member will assist you. You can find us at the Princeton Alliance Church, located at 20 Schalks Crossing Road, Plainsboro Township, NJ 08536. When you arrive, a representative will assist you. There may be a slight waiting period, but once you receive your test, the process should take less than a minute.

Our test is self-administered. Someone will be there to walk you through the process, but you will be able to perform a shallow nose swab, for about 10 seconds in each nostril, on yourself. You will place the swab in your test tube, hand the sample back to the staff member, and be on your way!

What do I need to bring to my visit:
You will need to upload a picture of your photo ID and insurance card when you register. If you do not pre-register, bring the physical copies to the location for your test.

Please include your 2022 insurance information when you register. If you do not have insurance, you will not be charged for your test.

How to get your results:
After completing your registration, you will get a welcome email from Flow Health asking you to complete your account set up. Once your results are ready in 24-48 hours, you will be able to log into your Patient Portal and view or download your results there.

If you have any issues accessing your account or results, please email CS@flowhealth.com and include the following information:
• Test Date:
• Legal Name:
• Testing Location:
• Phone Number:
• Address:

What type of test is this:
Our test is a lab based RT-PCR test. This is one of the most accurate tests you can receive.

What do I do if I test positive:
If you test positive, the first thing you should do is stay home and quarantine. If you begin experiencing symptoms and would like to talk with a virtual provider, you can schedule an appointment at Carbon Health.

For any other healthcare needs, you can visit one of our Central Jersey Urgent Care powered by Carbon Health Clinics.

Good morning Plainsboro and Happy Groundhog's Day! Well it seems that our local star, "Milltown Mel" has taken the year off from looking for his shadow so, we've reached out to Staten Island Chuck and Punxsutawney Phil on whether or not we will have an early spring or not and guess what.... they can't agree with one another (groundhogs can be so competitive 😂) so, I guess we will have to wait and see for ourselves.

It looks like today is the day to dig out from all of this snow, if you haven't already done so. Please be safe and take breaks! Oh and do our friends over at Plainsboro Fire Company a favor and make sure to dig out those hydrants so they can be seen and accessed.

Have a great day everyone!!
