It was a privilege and an honor to be invited to EPIC to collaborate and share in meaningful discussions around current projects and initiatives, as well as to meet the dedicated staff who serve individuals with developmental disabilities every day.

It was an honor to welcome Willow Baer, Commissioner of the NYS Office for People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD), and Michelle Torres, Director of Regional Field Office 5. Their engagement, leadership, and commitment to partnership are deeply appreciated, and we value the opportunity to discuss shared goals that strengthen services and outcomes for the individuals and families we support .

Today we traded business attire for ugly sweaters and honestly, it was a great reminder that culture matters just as much as results. Laughter , creativity on full display, and a team that shows up for one another every day.

Community Care Rx Irien Moawad , President of Pharmacy Services enjoyed celebrating the season at the South Shore Guidance Center today at Freeport, part of the EPIC Family of Human Service Agencies 🎄✨

This annual holiday party is a beautiful reflection of South Shore Guidance Center’s mission to support children, youth, and families through compassionate mental health and community-based services.

Staff spent their Saturday preparing to attend and ensuring this event was truly special for the community we serve. From food and games to a visit from Santa (aka Joel 🎅), every detail created moments of joy.

Interacting with the youth and their families and seeing their smiles was truly priceless and captured the true meaning of holiday giving.

Service is the rent we pay for the privilege of living on this earth.

We gathered at the beautiful North Hills Country Club to celebrate the heart and soul of our field our Direct Support Professionals. This 5th anniversary gala was more than an event; it was a reminder of the extraordinary impact DSPs make every single day.

Their compassion.
Their dedication.
Their unwavering commitment to dignity and care.
These are the qualities that uplift individuals, families, and entire communities.

One of my favorite reminders from the evening:
