Green Prairie would like to send a huge thank you to everyone in the area who has come up to sing Christmas carols, drop off presents and calendars for the new year, and stopped by to visit with our residents. We are so blessed to be a part of the Plainview and surrounding community, and around the holidays the amount of love and support we receive from all of you is overwhelming! Last Thursday we had our local Girl Scout Troop come and join us for an afternoon of fun! They visited with all of our residents, decorated their rooms and our hallways for the season, and even sang a few carols. These ladies brought so many smiles to our folks. Yesterday we had the honor of celebrating all our veterans that live here at Green Prairie. We had so many folks show up to show their support that we didn't have time to stop and take pictures! We'd also like to thank the Plainview Auxiliary for bringing cards to all who served. On Veteran's Day and every day, we thank all of our veterans for their years of service and for defending our country! 🇺🇸❤️🤍💙
