Walnut Hill Counseling is excited to offer two new programs run by our incredible intern: Dory Stefanowicz. Come join Walnut Hill for a chance to get to know and work with our animal family!
Monday Program:
The beginner program will run on Mondays from 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm from June 10th - July 8th. No experience needed; this is a great first program for animal lovers that want to learn the basics of animal and farm care! Learn to brush, tack, lead and take care of horses, donkeys, goats, and chickens! Learn about basic maintenance of the animals from cleaning and feedings while learning the importance of animal care and responsibility! Rain or shine, come spend time with our animals! *This program does not offer horseback riding at this time*
There will be up to 8 spaces available for anyone ages 6 and up!
$200 for 5 weeks
Thursday Program:
Our more advanced program will run on Thursdays from 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm from June 13th - July 11th. This group is designed for anyone who wants to learn more about the maintenance of a farm and the more advanced care of the animals from horses, donkeys, goats and chickens. Learn to groom, tack, feed, clean, basic injury/wound care processes, advanced anatomy, and leg wrapping. Rain or shine, come learn how to take care of a farm and animals! *This program does not offer horseback riding at this time*
This group has 8 spots for anyone ages 10 and up!
$200 for 5 weeks
