This Thanksgiving, our team is reflecting on the hope, healing, and strength we witness every single day. We asked our staff to share something they are thankful for this season — a reminder that gratitude connects us all. As we gather with loved ones, we are deeply grateful for our survivors, volunteers, advocates, partners, and supporters who make our mission possible. Thank you for standing with us and helping us continue 40 years of hope and healing. 🧡

November is Native American Heritage Month — a time to honor and celebrate the rich histories, diverse cultures, and invaluable contributions of Native and Indigenous peoples. 🌾✨

At The Turning Point, we recognize the strength, resilience, and traditions of Native communities and stand in solidarity with survivors from all backgrounds. This month, we celebrate the voices, stories, and legacies that continue to shape and enrich our shared journey. 💜

On Friday, November 7, 2025, The Turning Point was honored to be invited by Jennifer Cloud to HCA Healthcare to share with their Executives and Directors about who we are and the important work we do to support survivors. 💜

After our presentation, the amazing HCA team came together to assemble 200 care bags for survivors—each filled with clothing, personal hygiene items, and a fidget or stress ball to bring comfort and peace during a difficult time.

These thoughtful gestures truly make a difference in helping survivors regain a sense of dignity and hope. We’re so grateful for HCA Healthcare’s compassion, generosity, and partnership in this mission! 🙏✨

The Turning Point recently wrapped up its final 3-Week Advocacy Training of 2025, held from October 7–23. This impactful program brought together a dedicated group of individuals eager to support survivors of sexual violence and advocate for meaningful change in their communities.

Over the course of three weeks, participants received in-depth training on crisis response, survivor support, and community outreach, equipping them to become confident, compassionate advocates. The Turning Point team expressed deep appreciation to all who completed this final training of the year, recognizing their commitment to healing, empowerment, and justice.

For those inspired to make a difference, The Turning Point invites new volunteers to join next year’s training sessions. To learn more or get involved, contact volunteer@theturningpoint.org.
