If I had to “be” somewhere today, I’d pick the coastline around La Libertad. There’s something about that stretch of Pacific—raw, a little untamed, not trying too hard—that makes it feel honest. You get the rhythm of the waves, the salt in the air, and just enough stillness to actually hear your own thoughts again.

But favorites depend on what you need:
Beach — when life feels heavyI’d stay right there in La Libertad. The ocean has a way of putting things back into proportion. It doesn’t fix everything, but it reminds you not everything needs fixing today.

Mountains — when you need clarityPlaces like force you to slow down. The air is sharper, the views wider—it’s hard to stay mentally cluttered when everything around you feels that expansive.

City — when you want energy again . It’s loud, fast, sometimes chaotic—but it wakes you up. It reminds you there’s always movement, opportunity, and reinvention. If you come on May 12 & 13 , 2026 is playing at the . The concerts celebrate their 50th anniversary, with shows starting around 8:30 PM (or 7:00 PM per some listings). How do you treat grief shock and denial?

Understand the so that you may be intentional about Healing and Staying Healthy.

Immediately after a death, those left behind often feel shocked, numb and in denial, particularly if the death was unexpected. When they begin to understand the reality of death, they can feel intensely sad, empty or lonely, and sometimes angry or guilty. The feelings can be painful, constant or overwhelming and is different for everyone. Set up your own way to deal with this grieving process:

1. Acknowledge your pain.
2. Accept that grief can trigger many different and unexpected emotions.
3. Understand that your grieving process will be unique to you.
4. Seek out face-to-face support from people who care about you.
5. Support yourself emotionally by taking care of yourself physically.

When we understand the grieving process, we can work towards healing and acceptance to move on in life.

What does Eternal Everlasting Life Mean to You?

Eternity is endless life after death. It means "forever". It means when life ends here, it continues somewhere else. The Bible uses the phrase in a positive sense. It is a quality of life that begins on earth and continues in heaven (Romans 6:4).

In the Bible Eternity is a Timeless existence--being or entity without change--is what we here mean by eternity, and not mere everlastingness or permanence through time. God, in His internal being, is raised above time; in His eternal absoluteness, He is throned above temporal development, and knows, as the Scriptures say, no changeableness.

Jesus tells us that eternal life is all about having a close personal relationship with God the Father and His Son Jesus Christ. We come to experientially know God like we do with any other person. We spend time with Him. We learn about God's character.

How do we prepare for that last day? Before we embark on our final trip, have we left an early home in a state of chaos or condition of order? - Dr. Billy Graham

1 John 5:11-13 “And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life. I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.”

Psalms 139:23-24 God, examine me and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any bad thing in me. Lead me on the road to everlasting life.

John 10:27–28 Jesus states that: "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: and I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish."

Psalms 106 48 - Blessed be the LORD, the God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting! And let all the people say, "Amen!" Praise the LORD!

Why is Encouragement so Powerful?

Encouragement is the action of giving someone support, confidence, or hope. It is the process of building each other up, coming alongside another, strengthening the weak and sick and consoling the troubled.

Words of encouragement are motivational affirmations that individuals can read and repeat to maintain or increase their motivation.

When we encourage people, we let them know what we think – and that they matter to us. Encouragement doesn't have to mean that everything is perfect, or that there isn't room for growth and improvement. But it does show that there is a foundation to build from.

2 Corinthians 12:9—“My grace is all you need, for my power is the greatest when you are weak.”

Psalm 73:26—"My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever."

Nehemiah 8:10—"Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength."

A lesson for all of us is that for every loss, there is victory, for every sadness, there is joy, and when you think you've lost everything, there is hope. There is some good in this world, and it's worth fighting for.

People possessing the spiritual gift of encouragement typically display a unique ability to help others gain a positive emotional and spiritual perspective on their circumstances. We can trust Encouragers to find the positive in any situation.

At its core, encouragement is an expression of affirmation—that is, encouragement communicates a positive message about the recipient

Encouragement leads to confidence, which leads to action, which leads to accomplishment, which branches off to more encouragement, and so on. So again, try and encourage someone today. On top of that, though, make your goals, and make your struggles known.

What type of will you give yourself today?

Remember this is a grounding intention. Focus on your mental peace, stability, and a positive mindset. Choose a self-care that’s simple, repeatable, and actually calming—not overwhelming.

Here’s what that could look like today:

1. Quieting the mind (mental peace)**
Take 10–15 minutes to sit in silence, breathe slowly, and just notice your thoughts without chasing them. Even a short mindfulness moment can reset your emotional baseline.

2. Limiting noise (stability)**
Reduce unnecessary input—less social media, less chaotic content. Protecting your mental space is one of the strongest forms of self-care.

3. Gentle reframing (positive mindset)**
When something stressful pops up, pause and ask: *“Is there a more balanced way to see this?”* Not fake positivity—just fairer thinking.

4. One small win**
Do one manageable task you’ve been putting off. Completing something small builds a sense of control and stability.

5. Intentional kindness to yourself**
Talk to yourself the way you would to someone you care about. Especially when you make mistakes—this is huge for long-term mental health.
