* What does an appointment look like?
I am glad you asked. I am located in room 130 at Caddo Offices Reimagined North Plano. If the door is open, we can start the conversation about your appointment. If it is closed, please wait in the atrium until I am able to meet you and take you back to the room. Once in the room we will discuss the appointment. Common questions I ask but are not limited to: What areas need extra attention? Where is the pain? Have you had any surgeries? What health condition do you have? Any autoimmune conditions? Any areas to avoid? Etc.
I will explain how to position yourself on the table and ask if you have any questions. Once those have been answered, I will step out to let you get ready and wash my hands. When I get back to the room, I will knock before I enter. The service will start working through the areas we discussed for the time scheduled. If anything changes, please let me know. Your comfort and trust is important in the professional relationship. Once the service has been completed, I will step out to wash my hands. This time allows you to get dressed and ready to take on the rest of your day. When you are ready, open the door so I know to come back inside the room. We will complete payment at that time. Major credit cards and cash are accepted. We will then get the next appointment booked. I will wish you a great day.
* What if I want quiet? Or need to be connected?
We’ve all been overwhelmed by making conversation. Once the appointment has started, we can talk or not talk however much you want to. Some of my clients really want to unplug, so we don’t talk other than minimal questions about the massage. I am never offended if you ask for quiet, even if we have been talking.
The office is a place for silenced cellphones. However, we have all needed to stay touch at one point or another. If you need your phone close for a new baby, elderly parents, or other things, please let me know so I can help keep an eye on it.
