I spent time rotating thru the dental clinic at Scottish Rite when I did my residency. Did you realize they have a dental clinic? Little did I know all those years ago that I would be involved with Cookies & Castles Dallas serving on the board year after year. Scottish Rite is a gem right here in our backyard!

As Texans, we stand together in times of need. Our hearts are with all Texans, and their families, who have been impacted by and lost loved ones during the devastating floods over the last two days. For many, what was to be a time of celebration turned into a time of survival and, for some, grief.

To our fellow Texans in Kerr, Burnet, San Saba, Travis, and Williamson counties, we are praying for immediate relief from the continuing torrential rains.

Lastly, we are forever grateful to all the first responders and volunteers risking their own lives to save others. ❤️

While I am a Mavs fan (minus Nico), I am from the state north of the Red River. My husband and I were eating lunch next door to Dr. Noble’s old office when we saw the images of the OKC bombing. So this image has been one of remembrance and pride for my home state this week!
