Shouting CONGRATS 🥳 to one of our favorite people ever, Erin, on completing her associate hours and becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor. Erin has been an integral part of the C2T team and brings so much warmth and sunshine to the office 🌞🌈 we are so lucky to have her!

Erin is now currently in the process of credentialing with United Healthcare and applying for her Registered Play Therapy credential. Help us celebrate her and all her hard work! ✨

We’re excited to welcome Kate Lindaman to the C2T team! Kate is an LPC-Associate under the supervision of Katie Dunham, LPC-S, RPT-S. She works primarily with children and teens utilizing a child-centered approach and is trained in play therapy. Kate has experience supporting clients struggling with anxiety, autism, behavioral issues, school-related concerns, self-harm, and interpersonal relationship skills.

She completed a dual masters program in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and School Counseling. In addition to her clinical training, Kate has a strong understanding of school systems and a specialized skill set to support kids and teens struggling in the school setting or who are facing school-related stressors.

Katie and Kelsey are officially certified Acudetox Specialists 🥳 We are SO incredibly excited to start offering auricular acupuncture to the North Texas community. This intervention is incredible for more reasons than we can list, and we have see first hand how much this treatment supports natural healing and promotes well-being.

Katie and Kelsey (+Cristhian) presented about grief/loss and navigating the upcoming holidays for families at Southwest Transplant Alliance this morning! Grief is especially hard during the holiday season, and we find so much value in empowering people through education. We value the partnership we have had with STA for the last two years and their willingness to support families throughout the grief process.

Special shoutout to Cristhian for providing his knowledge and facilitating the presentation in Spanish for Spanish speaking families 👏🏼 this is a new addition to our speaking events we are very excited to offer in the community!

Gentle parenting is a hot topic right now, and from our experience, there’s a big misunderstanding of what it actually means. At it’s core, it means understanding that when a kid is struggling with behavior, it means they’re actually struggling with regulation. What are your thoughts? 🤔

We are so excited to announce Renae and Julie completed their EMDR consultations and are both officially EMDR Trained! 🥳

This means we now have 7 clinicians in our office trained in EMDR and offer this modality to clients of all ages!

Welcome to the team, Julie! 🥳 Julie is an LPC-Associate under the supervision of Kelsey D’Amore, LPC-S, RPT-S. She is trained in play therapy and has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, abuse, attachment concerns, transitional periods, and life changes. Her training includes a client centered approach that allows her to meet each client where they are. She is also in training for EMDR and will be officially EMDR-Trained soon! Julie works with clients ages 3 years old and above and is currently accepting new clients.

Her training includes evidenced based practices, and a client centered approach. Heather works with clients ages 5 years old and above and is currently accepting new clients!
