As we celebrate Thanksgiving, my heart is full of gratitude.
This year has been rich with unforgettable moments, beautiful connections, and so many people who continue to bring warmth, joy, and meaning into my life.

I’m thankful for my family, my friends, my son Sasha, my patients, my team, and every person who has supported me, inspired me, trusted me, or simply shared a smile with me. Life is brighter because of you.

This is a huge win — and it’s about time.
The FDA has officially removed the black box warning on hormone replacement therapy. I’ve had hundreds of conversations with women about this — including today during my visit to Ivoclar in Buffalo — and so many of us have been waiting for this moment.

For decades, fear-based messaging around HRT held women back from receiving safe, effective relief. Women suffered in silence, dismissed or told to “just deal with it,” while an outdated warning overshadowed science, progress, and quality of life.

This decision is not just regulatory. It’s validation. It’s respect. It’s a course correction.
It means we can finally talk openly — based on evidence, not fear. It means more women can get the treatment they need without stigma. It means we are moving toward healthcare that is informed, individualized, and supportive instead of restrictive and shame-based.

There is still work ahead. Education is still needed. Too many women (and too many providers) are still operating on old data. But today is a step in the right direction — an acknowledgment that women’s health matters and that science must guide care, not fear.

To every woman who questioned her symptoms, who felt dismissed, who struggled through sleepless nights and anxiety and brain fog while being told “it’s normal” — this win is for you.

Let’s keep talking. Let’s keep learning. And let’s make sure every woman knows her options.
