Hello Friends and Families of 1CP Place.

We are very excited to announce our new part-time team member, Leigh Ann Jordan, SLP. 🎉 Leigh Ann is a Speech-Language Pathologist with over 20 years of experience, including 15 years specializing in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). She is passionate about helping people of all ages find their voice and connect with the world around them. 💚 In addition to AAC, she works with a wide variety of speech-language disorders including receptive and expressive language impairments, articulation disorders, motor speech disorders, childhood apraxia of speech, autism spectrum disorder, pragmatic language deficits, oral motor impairments, and feeding disorders. She also holds a certification in Auditory Learning for Children with Hearing Loss. She is a proud graduate of Texas A&M University and also holds a Master of Science degree in Communication Disorders from the University of Texas at Dallas.
Outside of work, she enjoys life with her wonderful husband and little girl. She also loves reading, traveling, and spending quality time with family and friends. Please join us in welcoming her to our growing team.

Leigh Ann will be available for appointments on Tuesdays between the hours of 8:30-12:30. She will have 1hr evaluation slots and 30min follow up treatment slots. We are taking appointments for fall at this time. If you have any questions or if you are interested in making an appointment, please email james@1cpplace.com to schedule.

We are so excited to be expanding our practice to include another discipline of therapy, and Leigh Ann truly exhibits the level of expertise and commitment to treating the child as a whole that we love here at 1CP Place.

We were so glad to have our friend Liam back with our team to start the summer! He came all the way from Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 and worked SO hard 💪 for two straight weeks! We are very proud of him and his family for all their progress, and we can’t wait till they return again! 💚
