There are memories inside us that go silent for years—soft, hidden, waiting. And then one day, without warning, something stirs them awake. With them rise the emotions we thought we buried long ago… the ones we hid so deeply we almost convinced ourselves they never existed.
When this happens, sleep becomes a luxury we can’t seem to afford. Peace turns into a story we used to believe in. The world keeps moving, but inside, everything feels paused. Mornings arrive with a weight on the chest that has no name, and nights bring no relief—only a weariness that settles into the bones. Each day becomes a quiet battle between exhaustion and the stubborn hope that somehow, we’ll make it through.
At the center of all this lies the heart chakra—the bridge between body and spirit, between the karmic centers below and the kriya centers above. It is the home of love, compassion, softness, and connection. But when grief enters this sacred space, it becomes depression—a heavy sadness that sits in the chest like a stone, a hollow ache that words cannot touch.
Tears become the heart’s own medicine. They wash us clean. Even science reminds us that tears release stress hormones—proof that crying isn’t weakness; it’s healing.
So when the heart breaks open under the weight of old memories and long-buried pain, offer it patience. Offer it gentleness. Let the sadness move. Let the tears fall. This is how grief loosens, how heaviness becomes space—space for love, peace, and meaning to slowly find their way back home.
