One of the most common areas for falls in our home is in our bathrooms, especially in the shower and tub areas. In a wet environment, it is important to ensure all safety measures are taken into consideration as we age in place.

Shower grab bars are one of the most effective ways to prevent a fall within the bathroom. We always suggest at least 2 grab bars within a bathroom shower or tub area. One at entry, vertically for accessibility, especially over large thresholds, or tubs, and one alongside the back wall, using ADA guidelines.
