"This vibrant installation weaves together stories from women connected to the disability community, transforming memories into rich expressions of texture, color, and emotion. Inspired by flower fields from meaningful places around the world, each piece reflects themes of connection, belonging, and shared experience.
Like a bouquet of distinct blooms, the exhibition honors the beauty and individuality of every story, mothers, sisters, grandmothers, and friends, inviting guests to experience a garden of perspectives rooted in joy and community.
Zofia, a 23-year-old multisensory artist and self-advocate with autism and Down syndrome, brings a unique and expressive approach to her work. Influenced by Floridaβs tropical landscape, her art captures emotion through bold color, layered texture, and natural elements, encouraging viewers to see beauty through a different lens.
Celebrate the opening of this inspiring exhibition featuring works such as Carolina Wildflowers, and experience an evening of art, connection, and community."
