🚨 𝗣𝗵𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝟯 𝗨𝗟𝗧𝗜𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗘 𝗜 & 𝗜𝗜 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗨𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲 🚨

New data published last month in Neurology and Therapy (March 9) reinforces why we advocate for high-efficacy intervention early in the disease course for Relapsing MS (RMS).

A pooled analysis of the Phase 3 ULTIMATE I & II studies for BRIUMVI (ublituximab-xiiy) demonstrated a 95.6% reduction in Gd+ T1 lesions over 96 weeks compared to standard oral therapies. Another observed benefit over teriflunomide was that BRIUMVI patients were nearly 5 times more likely to achieve NEDA-3 during weeks 24–96.

𝗠𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗺 𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝗹𝘇𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗿’𝘀 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲 🧠

The transition to LUX Infusion highlights our focus on the long-term journey of the patient. The FDA has accepted a Supplemental Biologics License Application (sBLA) for LEQEMBI® IQLIK™ (lecanemab-irmb) as a weekly subcutaneous (SC) starting dose, granting it priority review.

If approved, the implications are significant: this would allow providers to initiate SC therapy right from the start, rather than just during the maintenance phase (and would be the first anti-amyloid therapy to offer this). The FDA filing comes off the back of the Phase 3 Clarity AD study showing that a weekly 500mg SC dose achieves equivalent exposure and similar clinical/biomarker benefits to standard bi-weekly infusions.

We are closely watching the FDA action date set for May 24, because—whether care happens in our centers or through a transition to home-based dosing—we believe therapy should adapt to the patient, not the other way around.

The World Federation of Hemophilia (WFH) estimates that over three-quarters of all people living with hemophilia are undiagnosed. At LUX Infusion, our mission is to illuminate the path to care so that getting diagnosed doesn’t have to be as daunting.

💉 gMG/CIDP Update: New Delivery Options are Here 💉

The past year has seen a huge win for gMG and CIDP patients in the form of a new delivery method for VYGART Hytrulo, the first-in-class FcRn blocker.

The 𝙚𝙛𝙜𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙜𝙞𝙢𝙤𝙙 𝙖𝙡𝙛𝙖 and 𝙝𝙮𝙖𝙡𝙪𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙞𝙙𝙖𝙨𝙚-𝙦𝙫𝙛𝙘 formulation will now be available in a pre-filled syringe for self-injection that patients can administer themselves, representing a massive shift in autonomy.

In welcome news for those suffering from MS, we just saw the 5-year data from the ULTIMATE I & II extension studies, and BRIUMVI (ublituximab-xiiy) continues to impress.

Relapse rate was found to be 0.020, which means just one relapse every 50 years of treatment! We love “low dose, high impact” approaches—BRIUMVI is glycoengineered to lack certain sugar molecules, allowing for efficient B-cell depletion at lower doses.
