Can you believe it? Halloween officially kicks off the last quarter of the year — and with it comes the whirlwind of holidays, gatherings, sweet temptations, and full calendars.

While this season is filled with joy, it can also quietly impact your health and wellness goals in ways we often overlook.

Here are a few common challenges that sneak up during this time:

🎃 Sugar Overload: Halloween candy, pumpkin spice lattes, and endless desserts can spike blood sugar and increase inflammation.

🍷 Extra Indulgences: Parties and family gatherings often come with heavy meals and alcohol that can throw your metabolism off track.
😴 Sleep Disruption: Late nights and stress can elevate cortisol, affecting energy, mood, and cravings.
💭 Emotional Overload: Family dynamics, financial pressures, and travel can weigh on your mental and emotional health.

But here’s the good news — you can enjoy the holidays without losing control of your health or your goals.

Here’s how:

✅ Plan Ahead. Don’t go to events hungry. Have a balanced meal with protein and fiber first to keep blood sugar stable.

✅ Stay Hydrated. Sometimes fatigue and cravings are just dehydration in disguise. Keep your water bottle close!
✅ Prioritize Movement. Even a 10-minute walk after meals helps balance digestion and blood sugar.
✅ Set Boundaries. Protect your energy and time — not every invitation requires a “yes.”
✅ Practice the 80/20 Rule. Enjoy your favorite treats mindfully, knowing that consistency matters more than perfection.

Remember — this season isn’t about restriction, it’s about intention.

You deserve to enjoy the holidays and feel good while doing it.

If you’re ready to stay in control and keep your body balanced through the holidays, my 10-Day Detox is the perfect reset to get you back on track before the new year.

👉 Click here to grab your Detox for just $27 and step into the holidays feeling lighter, clearer, and more in control.

Stay mindful. Stay balanced. Stay empowered. 💚

Feeling snacky when you’re stressed? Here’s why.

If you’ve ever found yourself reaching for sweets when life feels stressful, you’re not alone—and it’s not a lack of discipline. It’s chemistry.

When your body senses stress, it releases cortisol, your “fight or flight” hormone. Cortisol’s job is to help you survive, but it also triggers cravings for quick energy—usually sugar or refined carbs.

Those quick bites give you a temporary lift, then crash your blood sugar… leaving you tired, moody, foggy, and craving even more sugar

This is the stress-sugar cycle—and over time, it can:

Spike inflammation and belly fat, Disrupt hormones and sleep, Create brain fog and fatigue.

The key to breaking the cycle is balancing cortisol and supporting your body’s natural detox systems.
Here’s how to start:

🌿 Eat balanced meals with protein, fiber, and healthy fats
🌿 Hydrate and move daily to lower cortisol
🌿 Prioritize calm—deep breathing, walking, or journaling

And if you’re ready to take it further…
💛 Claim your CAG 10-Day Detox for only $27
It’s a guided, gentle reset to help you:
✨ Reclaim your energy
✨ Balance your hormones
✨ Reduce inflammation
✨ Clear brain fog

Just hit reply with “I’M IN” to join and start feeling lighter, clearer, and more in control again.

You don’t have to push through exhaustion and cravings—your body just needs a reset. 💛

With balance + wellness,

Reclaiming Energy: The Power of Self-Focus

In a world that constantly demands attention, it’s easy to pour time and energy into everything and everyone else—work, relationships, responsibilities—while quietly neglecting the self. The desire to be dependable and supportive often overshadows the need for personal restoration. Yet, without moments of self-focus, emotional reserves run dry, leaving exhaustion where fulfillment should be.

The Habit of Giving Without Receiving

Many people naturally show up for friends and family, offering comfort, advice, and presence. It feels good to be the one others can rely on. But beneath that generosity often lies a quiet hope—that the same energy will one day be returned. When it isn’t, disappointment sets in, followed by fatigue and emotional depletion. The truth is, constantly giving without receiving creates an imbalance that no amount of external validation can fix.

Recognizing the Signs of Energy Drain
Emotional burnout doesn’t always announce itself loudly. It can appear as irritability, lack of motivation, or a subtle sense of emptiness. These are signals that energy is being poured outward without replenishment. Taking a moment to pause and reflect on where time and attention are going can reveal how much of life’s energy is being spent on others instead of being invested inward.

The Importance of Self-Focus
Self-focus is not selfish—it’s essential. It means redirecting energy toward personal growth, rest, and emotional nourishment. It’s about acknowledging that being there for others is only sustainable when the self is cared for first. Setting boundaries, saying no when necessary, and carving out time for solitude are acts of preservation, not neglect.

Filling the Emotional Bucket
Filling the emotional bucket begins with intentional self-care. This might mean journaling, meditating, spending time in nature, or simply allowing space to breathe without obligation. It’s about creating moments that restore balance and remind the self of its worth independent of external validation. When the emotional bucket is full, giving becomes an act of abundance rather than depletion

Taking a moment to ensure energy isn’t being poured into everything but the self is an act of awareness and strength. It’s a reminder that self-focus is not a retreat from connection but a foundation for it. By nurturing inner well-being, it becomes possible to show up for others from a place of wholeness—no longer hoping for energy to be returned, but radiating it from within.

I recently returned from a trip to Las Vegas, and it was such a reminder of how life shifts as we do.

In my 20s and 30s, Vegas meant nightclubs, bars, and staying out until the sun came up. Back then, the “value” of the trip was measured by getting into the hottest spots and keeping up with the energy of the city.

This time was completely different—and honestly, so much more fulfilling. Instead of chasing nightlife, we explored everything off the strip. We hiked beautiful trails, packed lunches, and found joy in simply being surrounded by nature and good company. What once would have seemed “boring” to my younger self, now felt like the best part of the trip.

It’s easy to fall into the “how we used to be” syndrome—measuring ourselves by past versions and wondering why we don’t do things the same way anymore. But the truth is, each season of life brings new ways of finding meaning, joy, and connection.

Honoring where we are now—whether that’s slowing down, finding peace in different experiences, or redefining what matters most—isn’t about losing who we were. It’s about embracing who we’re becoming.

Here’s to celebrating the version of ourselves that exists today. 🌟

Are you ready to embrace the new version of yourself? I'm thrilled to partner with you on your health journey! Stop Waiting to Feel Like It

Hey Wellness Fam,

Here’s a truth that might surprise you:
Your feelings aren't always on your side.

So many of us wait for motivation to magically show up before we take action—whether it’s a workout, meal prep, getting to bed early, or making time for self-care. But the truth is:

> Motivation usually shows up after we start doing the thing—not before
If you let your feelings drive the bus, you’ll often find yourself procrastinating, making excuses, or giving up before you even begin.

Why does this happen?
Feelings crave comfort. Your brain is wired to avoid discomfort—even when discomfort leads to growth.

You’re conditioned to seek quick wins. If a reward doesn’t come fast, your brain says “why bother?”

Fear of failure or not doing it perfectly can make inaction feel safer.
You’re overwhelmed. When the full picture seems like too much, your brain says let’s not even start.

Old habits die hard. Your mind is used to certain patterns—and breaking them means effort.

Here’s the shift:
Instead of asking, "Do I feel like doing this?"
Ask, "What would my future self thank me for?"

Then do it.

Just start. Even 5 minutes can lead to 30. A walk can turn into a workout. A healthy choice can lead to a great day.

This week, I challenge you to act first. Let the motivation catch up to you.
You don’t need to feel like it—you just need to begin.

You've got this 💪

P.S. Reply and tell me what you're committing to today—just one small action. I’ll be cheering you on! And if you need an extra helping hand check out my programs to help give you the accountability you may need!

Give Yourself Permission to Evolve

Happy Monday Wellness Fam,

Let’s have an honest moment.

Are you still holding yourself to the same standards, routines, or goals that made sense 10 or 20 years ago?

So many of us fall into this trap—expecting our bodies, minds, and energy to function the same way they did in our 20s or 30s… all while juggling an entirely different life in our 40s, 50s, or 60s.

Life changes—and so should your approach.

🌱 In your 20s, maybe you had flexible work hours, fewer responsibilities, and more time to hit the gym or prep meals.

👩‍👧 In your 30s, perhaps you were raising babies, building careers, or just starting to feel the push-and-pull of real-world stress.

💼 In your 40s and 50s, your hormones shift, sleep patterns change, and energy requires more intentional support. You may be managing teens, aging parents, or both.

🧘 In your 60s, your pace and priorities might shift again, calling for gentler movement, more recovery, and deeper reflection.

And yet, we often still chase old goals with old methods, forgetting that we've changed.

Here's the truth: When your lifestyle evolves, your expectations must evolve with it. Otherwise, you’re setting yourself up for frustration, burnout, or feeling like you’ve somehow failed—when really, you just didn’t adapt the plan.
So today, I invite you to ask yourself:

Am I expecting results from a version of myself that no longer exists?
Am I being fair to the life I live right now?
Have I made space for grace, or am I still clinging to outdated routines?

If you’re nodding along, it might be time to rewrite the rules—not lower your standards, but realign them.

Your journey now is not about going backward. It’s about honoring your present season and designing goals that reflect who you are today.

Ready to redefine what success looks like—for this chapter?

Let’s talk about how to build a plan that fits your real life.

When you aren't feeling good and can't keep much down or don't have quite an appetite, I LOVE using Protein2o as my go to protein replacement.

Not only does it contain electrolytes, but the 20g of protein ensures I don't lose any muscle mass due to lack of food intake.

I know some of my clients also have an issue with being able to get their snack in while on the job, this can be a great alternative!

After being sick for the last few days, I'm happy to have something I can turn to and trust.

Happy Thursday! I understand that navigating the week can be challenging, as the days often feel like they blend together and time seems scarce. Today, I am here to encourage you to prioritize scheduling personal time, as this will help reduce the risk of burnout towards the mid to end of the week.
