Oakridge of Plattsburg A community owned, not for profit skilled nursing facility. We are a 60 bed Skilled Nursing Facility, located in a beautiful rural setting.

Oakridge is a comfortable, peaceful place to call home, and we strive to make Oakridge feel like home to those that live here. Three delicious home-cooked meals are served daily plus the option to choose from the alternate "Oakridge Diner" menu. Snacks are plentiful if anyone gets hungry between meals or before bedtime. Our activities program is designed for all levels with planned events daily. Scheduled activities include bingo, exercises, van trips in the Oakridge van and many more too numerous to list. We offer our residents free access to in-house satellite TV with our own community channel. Our friendly, caring staff is well trained to meet the needs of our residents 24 hours a day.

🎄 The Resident Christmas Store is coming! 🎄

Christmas is fast approaching,and that means it’s time to start thinking about spreading some holiday cheer !

Our residents will once again be having an opportunity to shop-for free- for gifts for their family members at our Resident Christmas Store, which will be open on December 11th.

This special event brings so much joy to our residents as they choose meaningful gifts for their loved ones.

We are currently seeking donations of new items to help stock the store. Please note : we already have plenty of socks, gloves and hats, so we kindly ask for other types of gifts this year.

Your generosity makes this event possible each year, and we are deeply grateful for your continued support and giving spirit.

Thank you in advance for helping us make this holiday season truly special for our residents!

There were a whole lot of tricks, treats and laughs at The Oakridge Halloween Party! The traditional staff costume party was a hit once again. Residents voted the inflatable human toilet and toilet paper the best costume. The staff showed their many skills of mummy wrapping, balance and speed while competing in various relay races. During one of these contests there was a whole lot of hot air in the room! Our residents had a few tricks played on them as well. We played musical pass the witches hat, whoever was caught holding the hat put on a funny costume or guessed what was in the bag. A few creepy props in the bag were pickles for Frankenstein fingers, spaghetti for intestines, raisins for bat p**p and much more. The treats made by our friend Martha were amazing!! A big thank you to our staff and volunteers for your participation.

Royalty is in the house! 2025 Ms. Missouri Senior America - Gloria Jean Vann. She is from St. Louis Missouri. A member of the Missouri Cameo club and is a gospel singer. We were so fortunate to have her come and sing for us. The residents really enjoyed her God-given talent. We want to thank Gloria and her husband David (also her sound technician) for a wonderful performance.

We celebrated Pastor Appreciation Day! We had coffee and a pastry. The residents handed out a gift baskets of fruit, nuts, and chocolate. Again, we want to thank Rev. Shelton of the First Baptist Church of Plattsburg, Rev. Mallot and his wife (retired from) of the First Baptist Church of Lathrop, Rev. East and his wife of the Second Baptist Church of Plattsburg, Rev. Dunlap of the Methodist Church of Plattsburg, any volunteers for the First Christian Church of Plattsburg and the bible study teacher Raynne Herden of the First Christian Church of Lathrop.
