The Clinton County Health Department’s mission is to improve and protect the health, well-being, and environment of the people of Clinton County. The Clinton County Health Department is looking for a Public Health Educator to join our team.

The Public Health Educator will be tasked with establishing and implementing worksite lactation and community spaces policies in accordance with NYS Law, expanding and enhancing local chest/breastfeeding coalitions; supporting and strengthening Baby Cafes and lactation support groups; and implementing NYS’s 10 Steps to a Breastfeeding, Chestfeeding and Lactation Friendly Practice with health care providers. They will be working in our Breastfeeding, Chestfeeding and Lactation Friendly NY grant within the Division of Health Planning and Promotion.

Typical work activities and minimum qualifications can be found on the Clinton County Personnel website https://www.clintoncountyny.gov/employment/job-description-list. Applicants should complete a Clinton County application for employment available on the Personnel website (https://clinton-portal.mycivilservice.com/post/jobopps) and submit with all supporting documentation (transcripts, cover letter, resume, and references, as applicable) by close of business March 12, 2026.
