We’re incredibly grateful to Crown Home Mortgage – Team Crosley for their generous $10,000 donation in support of the CVPH Cardiac & Pulmonary Rehabilitation Project.

After another year of helping local families find homes, Adam and his team wanted to give back in a meaningful way, choosing to support a project that will expand access to cardiac and pulmonary care right here in our community.

A huge thank you to Kara Kretser and Soumar Bachawaty, PHS National Honor Society students, for organizing a tubing and skiing fundraiser at Beartown, and raising an incredible $2,000!

They generously chose to donate the proceeds to the Alice T. Miner Women & Children’s Center at CVPH, helping support education and essential resources for new parents in our community.

Kara and Soumar recently met with Women & Children’s staff, who were thrilled to learn about this meaningful gift and the impact it will have.

We’re so proud of these students for turning a fun event into something that truly makes a difference. 💚

Another Amazing Year at our Annual Easter Egg Hunt! 🐣

Thank you to everyone who joined us for another incredible Annual Easter Egg Hunt, from the excited kids and families to the volunteers who help make it all happen year after year.

In just minutes, thousands of eggs were collected, and the lawn was filled with laughter, smiles, and springtime fun.

Meet Karen – Making a Difference Beyond the Hospital Walls

When asked about a meaningful moment during her time at The Foundation, Karen shared that the most powerful experiences are the ones where she sees firsthand how donor generosity changes lives.

One recent story stands out. A patient had worked incredibly hard to secure safe, supportive housing after discharge, but one final barrier remained: the cost of the deposit. Through a Foundation fund designed to remove financial obstacles for patients transitioning home, his social worker was able to step in and help.

Because of donor support, he was able to move into his own living space with a supportive community — setting him up for success beyond the hospital.

Karen reminds us that The Foundation doesn’t just support care inside hospital walls, it helps ensure patients have what they need in their own environment to truly heal and thrive.

Moments like these are why the work matters. 💚

Giving Back to a Community That Gave So Much

A heartfelt thank you to Judy and Rich Guglielmo for their continued generosity to The Foundation of CVPH. Through a recent gift, their total giving has reached an incredible $50,000 over the past few years, supporting projects and programs close to their hearts.

Rich shared, “Plattsburgh has been good to us and we want to pay it back.”

The couple moved to Plattsburgh in 1969 with the Air Force, arriving with very little. Over the years, they’ve built a life here and are deeply grateful for the opportunities and success they’ve experienced in this community.

Now, they’re giving back, and encouraging others to do the same.
We are so thankful for Judy and Rich’s generosity and their commitment to making a lasting difference in the North Country. 💚
