I cannot believe it was 15 years ago today our lives changed dramatically. A routine kindergarten physical revealed that a Trey had leukemia. We are forever grateful for the people that were so supportive of our family as well as for the wisdom and care of the doctors and nurses at Children’s. Gods hand was all over our journey with this. Thankfully, Trey was healed and has had no lasting effects.

It’s hard to believe that it’s been 14 years since we found out that Trey had leukemia! Some think it’s odd that this is the day I choose to memorialize instead of his last treatment, but this was the day that changed our lives forever! I am reminded of the goodness and grace that God showed us throughout this leangthy trial. Our family, friends and church family rallied behind us in unimaginable ways. We are so grateful for all the support over the years and the treatment and care from the staff at Children’s Hospital that helped get Trey fully healed and healthy. We have been blessed

This is a day late, maybe because I can’t wrap my brain around this….TREY IS 18!!!! Happy birthday to this young man!

So thankful for the love, support and prayers for him through all of his trials. We love you Trey!

Had scare # (too many) today.
First: everyone is fine!!!!!! Healthy and Good!!
It was a year ago tomorrow that we found, via rash - petechia, that Trey had his second blood disease, ITP. He called me this am from school w/instructions “don’t freak out!” He noticed spots on his arms. My heart literally broke again and sank to the pit of my stomach. I didn’t want to tell ANYONE, I just wasn’t up to the task.
After 6 hours of waiting, miraculously his counts came back normal! Healthy! PERFECT!! They said that sometimes the rash can show up after sun exposure. No real reason. He’s is fine!! Praise the Lord!!
The Anderson family has collectively decided to no longer acknowledge the month of March!

11 years ago today I was taking Trey to get his kindergarten check-up. I had no idea that anything was wrong. In a matter of minutes we went from touching toes, hopping on one foot and drawing circles to IV’s, chemo therapy and blood transfusions. They discovered that Trey had leukemia. It was a very long and challenging road but we all grew so much. We are so thankful for God’s direction and protection over the years as well as all the support and live from our family and friends. Thankful to say he is healthy and well! Good is good!

Praises!🙏🏼👏🏼🙌🏻 Treys counts keep climbing. We got them checked a little earlier than the two week mark, they are still climbing!! 133!!

Praise the Lord Treys counts are still climbing!! We are up to 52!!! Our highest climb so far!!
