Hope Cooperative Care is seeking highly motivated individuals to join our Dining Services Team!

We are looking for a Part-Time Cook. Candidates should be comfortable in a kitchen setting working with the equipment necessary to prepare, cook, serve, and clean up 3 meals a day for residents living in Assisted Living. Candidate would need to check and properly record food and equipment temperatures, track inventory, maintain sanitary conditions, report any maintenance needs, and be able to understand Materials Safety Data Sheets.
Prefer experience working in some type of kitchen setting. Must be able to lift approximately 50 pounds. Will need to follow a menu as well as a recipe.
Cook position also requires interaction with residents in our community in a positive and professional way.
Applicant would need to pass a background check for multiple State and Federal Agencies. Must be available to work some weekends.

We are looking for someone that is reliable, self motivated, and has the ability to prioritize and work with our residents in a productive and positive manner.
Prefer applicant to have an active 40 Hour medication Aide License, however willing to train and work toward certification.
Shifts are 8 or 12 hour shifts and some weekends and holidays are required.

Candidate for this position will support Administrative staff onsite. Candidate will be responsible for tasks including filing, answering phones, taking and forwarding messages, and other tasks to maintain the business office at our Assisted Living Facility.

The candidate for this job should be positive, a self starter, able to multi-task, organized, and willing to learn new things as needed.
