We don't just look at your child's eyes, we look at how their eyes and brain work together! We use advanced technology that can show you how your child’s eyes are tracking for reading and attention, in real time.

We can do these tests on any school-aged child or even adults - this test was run on an 8-year-old child who struggled with attentional challenges (ADHD) caused by their eye tracking difficulties! There is so much more to vision than whether your child can pass the vision screenings at school or the pediatrician’s office!

This weekend, I had the wonderful opportunity to participate in the 1st ever Utah Vision Training Conference in St. George, UT.

This was an amazing event in which Neuro-Developmental Optometrists & Vision Therapists throughout Utah and Idaho came together to learn, grow, and collaborate together on how to bless the lives of families through Vision Therapy.

Many leaders in the field came together and presented on the following topics:
- Vision Therapy’s role in the management of Concussion and Brain Injury
- Management of Refractive Amblyopia (Lazy Eye)
- Visual Attention and Accommodative Dysfunctions
- Management of Esotropia (crossed eye)
- Photobiomodulatuon & Light Therapy
- Vision, Brain, & Body Integration in therapy
- Sports Vision Training
- Visual-Spatial Perception & Depth Perception
- Dyslexia & Visual Perception
- Patient-Therapist Communication for better success in therapy

It was an amazing conference and I can’t wait for many more vision training conferences like this one in the future!

I am very grateful to be amongst this amazing group of doctors and therapists! It is such rewarding work that we do!
