What you do—or don’t do—after your Botox appointment plays a big role in how your results settle.

•Stay upright for at least 4 hours.
Lying down too soon — even for a quick nap — can allow Botox to shift from the injection site, which may lead to uneven results or unintended muscle relaxation.

•Avoid rubbing or massaging treated areas.
Touching, rubbing, or applying pressure to the face can move the product before it has time to settle, potentially causing asymmetry or an unnatural look.

•Skip exercise for at least 24 hours.
Intense workouts increase blood flow and muscle activity, which can reduce effectiveness or cause Botox to spread away from the intended area.

Following these simple aftercare steps helps support smoother, more consistent, longer-lasting results.
