Let’s clear the shelf: 5 things your skin doesn’t need (and never asked for) 👇
1️⃣ Baby wipes – We know they’re easy… but your face deserves better. They tug, irritate, and leave behind residue that clogs and disrupts your barrier.
2️⃣ Micellar water – Yep, we said it. It might feel refreshing, but it doesn’t actually clean your skin. It can dry you out and leave a film behind—especially if you’re not rinsing after.
3️⃣ At-home dermaplane blades – We’ve seen the TikToks too, but they’re nothing like what we use in-clinic. Think dull blades, unclean tools, and way too much risk for irritation (or worse).
4️⃣ Fake tan on your face – It’s tempting, we get it! But most formulas are pore-clogging and loaded with fragrance. Go for a tinted SPF or ask us about safer alternatives.
5️⃣ Harsh scrubs + “tingly” masks – That burning sensation? Not a sign it’s working—just a sign your skin is overwhelmed. Your skin should feel soothed, not scorched.
