Our residents had a blast celebrating birthdays with an Elvis Presley themed party at Edencrest at Pleasant Hill! From classic tunes to lots of smiles and laughter, it was a rockin’ good time fit for the King himself.

Happy 66th Wedding Anniversary Mr. & Mrs. Durham!💍🤵👰💒

William was born in Melcher-Dallas, Iowa, and Sharon was born in Chicago, Illinois. Together, they built a beautiful life and raised five loving children. Within the first three years of their marriage, William was called to duty and stationed at Fort Benning, Georgia—an experience that shaped their early years together.

They shared many hobbies and passions. Sharon had a deep love for ice skating and was exceptionally talented on the ice. William was an avid hunter and fisherman, often providing food that he would graciously share many friends and family. Their home was known for its warmth, generosity, and open doors—everyone was welcome. The friendships the Durhams created over the many years have lasted many, many years, even into the next generation!🎣⛸️

William dedicated over 40 years to working at a flour mill, while Sharon spent many years serving others as a waitress at Shorty’s Steak House, where her friendly spirit made a lasting impact.
