Otto started his Facility Dog Internship last month, and he has been a huge asset to his school, Beverly Gardens Elementary.

Otto works with his team to help students and staff regulate their emotions and provide social support to students in Kindergarten through 4th grade. He even recently attended a school dance. Doesn't he look handsome in his formal attire?

During the five-month Facility Dog Internship, our interns and their handlers attend several training classes at Circle Tail. This not only prepares these teams for their jobs in a working environment, but it also gives everyone a chance to ask questions, show off some of their dog's new skills, and have a little bit of fun together.

Recently, our Winter/Spring Interns and their handlers gathered for some training practice where they played Dog Tic Tac Toe, sit versus down. We are so proud of this group!

We love our Circle Tail supporters, so it is fitting that we celebrate Valentine's Day by sharing a naming update for one of our Jane x Bara puppies thanks to one of our amazing supporters, Angela S.

Meet Monoco (Mo-no-ko), named after a scholarly and skilled video game character. Angela knows the skill and knowledge it takes to train a Facility or Assistance Dog, so she chose to support Circle Tail by sponsoring Monoco as he begins his journey at Circle Tail. Thank you, Angela!

Today is "National Make A Friend Day" which is a perfect day to introduce another Facility Dog Intern!

Marko has been making so many friends with his team at Anderson High School while he helps students with emotional regulation and attends student counseling sessions.

Did you know Circle Tail partners with the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden to help identify which animals are comfortable with Service Dogs visiting their habitat to create safe zoo experiences for both Service Animals and zoo animals?

Today is Groundhog Day, but our puppies decided to take over and decide if we will have an early spring or six more weeks of winter.

Raiden and his team from Turpin High School began their Circle Tail Facility Dog Internship just a few weeks ago.

Raiden has been preparing for this moment since he was a puppy, and now, alongside school counselors, psychologists, and therapists, he will provide support to students and attend school events. We know he will be an integral part of his school community.
