Yoga Story: A friend asked me to try Yoga at Joya’s in her backyard. I loved it and still do.
Favorite thing about Santosha : the people I have met so many new people and so many new friends. The variety of classes. Of course the instructors who each bring something fun and challenging to each class.
Fun Fact: this really dates me but one of my summer jobs during nursing school was a switchboard operator at the hospital. I was terrible at it.
App I can’t live without: Mahjong app I’m a bit obsessed .
Favorite yoga pose: Crow/side crow
Admire the most: My Mom, she lived to be 97. She was kind open minded a great reader interested in current events and role model.
As a child what did you want to be: Something in the medical field hospitals, Dr’s office everything about them was fascinating.
What would you donate a million dollars to: some to St Jude’s Hospital for Children no child should suffer with cancer, and Hospice everyone should die with dignity.
Something everyone should try once: Anything out of their comfort zone. I took a Hot air balloon ride over the mountains in Wadi Rum it was a bit terrifying but amazing.
Favorite place I’ve travelled to: I’ve been extremely lucky to travel to 33 countries 22 in the last 10 years.( Thank you LaMacchia Travel). I feel like everyplace offered a new experience something interesting and fun. So many I would love to go back to but so many more to see.
What am I looking forward to: a new decade becoming stronger healthy trying new things
