Lifeholistically-Emotional Wellness

Lifeholistically-Emotional Wellness Small batch handcrafted herbal products to get to the root of what ails you using organic and wildcrafted ingredients. Hello! I have a lot to share!

We are dedicated to building a healthier you. https://linktr.ee/Life_holistically (Links, teachings, and courses) My name is Leslie Moldenauer and I am the owner of Lifeholistically, a trusted resource that covers essential oil safety and encompasses all that natural living has to offer. I am first and foremost an aromatherapist. My practice is firmly rooted in research and science, but I also believe that hands on experience play a large role in an aromatherapists toolbox. I have been working with essential oils for over a decade, and have completed over 500 hours of formal training. Natural living and holistic wellness have been a part of my life for a very long time. Shortly after deciding to go back to school for complementary medicine, as a new mom with two very young boys I found myself absolutely exhausted. My to-do list was always growing by the minute and although I always got a lot done, I felt I never did anything particularly well. Burning the candle at both ends caught up with me in a big way when I was diagnosed with adrenal fatigue, and later with adrenal exhaustion. Through this shocking diagnosis, I discovered not only that I needed to take better care of myself, I needed to let go of what was no longer working in my life; attitudes and behaviors, self-talk, and I even walked away from a few key relationships in my life. I needed to grow in ways I never thought I could. I had to challenge my old ways of thinking. I am now a single mom and am thriving more than I have in years. Come and take this spiritual journey with me. I will challenge your thought processes to help you to love and take care of yourself first each and every day so that you have enough to not only care for your children the best that you can but to fully embrace life! I specialize in aromatherapy for kids so rest assured, I am very educated and anything that I share with you is based on research, science, and a whole lot of love. Aromatherapy can be of great benefit to your whole family! So what is my educational background? I earned my associate's degree in Complementary and Alternative Medicine at the American College of Healthcare Sciences in Portland, Oregon. In addition to my aromatherapy training, I am a Holistic Health Practitioner and Certified Holistic Nutrition Consultant with an additional 1,000 hours of training. Within these hours I have earned over 7 certificates, and have experience in formulating, natural product manufacturing, as well as aromatic medicine. I am happy that you have found my page. The future is bright and we are in this together! Aromatic Blessings, Leslie

There are two camps when it comes to liver health.

One says the liver is our detox organ and does not need support. No herbs. No cleansing. No attention. Just let it do its job.

The other camp recognizes that our livers are now dealing with ultra processed foods, medications, hormone disruptors, chronic stress, alcohol, and environmental chemicals on a daily basis.
Pretending this is the same world our bodies evolved in feels unrealistic.

I fall squarely in the second camp.

Yes, the liver detoxes.

That does not mean it should be left unsupported in today’s environment.

The problem is not that detox exists.
The problem is extreme detox culture that ignores food, lifestyle, and gentle daily support.

I wrote a short piece breaking down:
• signs your liver may be overworked
• everyday habits that quietly add burden
• what actually supports liver health without harsh cleanses

If this topic has ever confused you or frustrated you, you might find it grounding.

Does your liver really need support? Learn the signs of an overworked liver, what actually helps, and why gentle daily care matters in today’s world.

If your mind moves faster than you can keep up with or you feel overstimulated before the day even begins. You're not alone.

Skullcap is one of my favorite herbs for moments when the mind feels busy, and the body feels wound up.

Its soothing nature helps create a little more space inside. So you can breathe and settle.

I reach for my Meadow Ease blend on days when everything feels loud. If you'd like to learn more about it, the details live on my main page.

If your mind goes into overdrive the moment you finally slow down, that isn't a personality quirk. It's a nervous system stuck in alert mode.

Busy woman call it overthinking, but it's actually your body trying to protect you by staying mentally active.

This used to be me for years. My brain was never quiet even when my body was exhausted. My thoughts kept running loops.

Lemon balm herb (Melissa essential oil) has a long history of being used to soften mental focus and help the mind settle, and it quickly became one of the herbs I leaned on during my deepest healing season.

If you want the grounding practice that helped me stop spiraling at night, comment grounding practice and I'll send it to you.You don't have to live with mental static every time you slow down.

Your nervous system has its own language, and most women are never taught how to understand it.

Ventral vagal, sympathetic, dorsal.

Three states that shape how you think feel react and cope.
Three states that often get mislabeled as personality flaws instead of what they truly are... Survival patterns.

Here's the truth I wish someone had explained to me years ago:

You are not dramatic
You are not lazy
You are not inconsistent
You are not too emotional
You are not failing

You are cycling through states your body learned to use in order to keep you safe.

When you begin to recognize which state you are in, everything shifts.
You start to respond instead of collapse.
You begin to soothe instead of spiral.
You build compassion instead of shame.

Understanding your own nervous system is the beginning of self trust.

Save this set because these three states show up in daily life more than you realize. And if you want me to break down how herbs and simple daily rituals can support each one.Tell me in the comments. I will happily create more content for you.

You deserve a life that feels steady, not survival based.

Audit Mode...

Not everyone sees the link between that and the nervous system....but it is incredibly strong among women

Not sure what it is? Take a peek, maybe this is you?

Many women slip into “audit mode” without realizing it. Learn the subtle signs of hyper-awareness, how jaw and shoulder tension signal overwhelm, and how herbs like skullcap and lemon balm have been traditionally used to support a calmer, steadier nervous system.

Happy Thanksgiving 🦃

Today is a reminder to pause and notice what’s right in front of us.

A warm meal.
A quiet moment.
Family, friends, or simply a soft place to land inside yourself.

Even on a holiday, it’s easy for your mind to drift back to the lists, the stress, the responsibilities waiting on the other side of today. But showing gratitude isn’t just a holiday tradition. It’s a gentle nervous system reset — a way of telling your body, “I’m safe enough to be here.”

As we move into the busiest stretch of the year, consider carrying a few grounding habits with you:

• take one slow breath before responding or rushing
• let yourself enjoy the moment without earning it
• soften your shoulders whenever you notice them creeping up
• choose one tiny boundary that protects your peace
• let gratitude be a practice, not pressure

If today brings joy, soak it in.
If today feels heavy, offer yourself compassion.

And if you’re ready to break the cycle of chronic stress instead of dragging it into the holiday season, I shared a new post on my site that can help you begin.

Wishing you a calm heart, a regulated nervous system, and a moment of real presence today. 🤍

Chronic stress is silently draining women of energy and joy. Learn the early signs, why burnout happens, and simple practices to reclaim balance and well-being.

Some nights your mind just refuses to settle.
You’re tired, but your thoughts have other plans.
If that’s you right now, you’re not alone.

Creating a simple nighttime ritual changed the way my evenings feel. Slower breaths, dim lights, warm scents, and a moment where your body can finally exhale.

Orange Oasis is part of that ritual for me. It’s cozy, comforting, and helps set the tone for a softer night.

If you want to take a look or have questions about how I use it, comment REST and I’ll share the details with you.
