Hudson Valley YOGA provides access to Asana and Meditation that connects us with nature on or next to the water so we are able to better access peace and find our own flow. We offer small group meditation with Asana on the Hudson River and local creeks. On our sailboat or a paddle board is the perfect place to find your personal balance and connect with nature. We offer classes on the dock or land (next to the river) for landlubbers.
Yoga on the Dock: early morning meditation with asana
Some history: I earned my 200 hour certificate at Shiva Shanti Yoga School in East Rutherford NJ. My teacher, Felise had been a Jivamukti Yoga teacher which I have practiced and followed since 1994 in NYC so she was the perfect choice! I met Swami Maheshanand during this time and am happy to say he has become one of my greatest teachers! In December 2016 I earned a certificate in SUP Yoga under Christelle Chopard who owns the Dharma institute in Miami.
I have owned a yoga studio, taught children’s classes, adults and since mostly practiced on my own here in my studio in Salt Point, NY when not on the water. My passion and connection to being on the water led me in this direction. I have always been a boater and since discovering sailing, I want to share the experience with others. This May, we will begin offering classes in the Hudson Valley. I hope you will join me in this experience.
