New evidence reinforces a new, patient-centered standard for assessing efficacy of stone removal procedures. The Journal of Endourology recently published results from the CLEARANCE study and ASPIRE randomized controlled trial evaluating the CVAC System.
Key findings include:
• 96% mean stone clearance and very low residual stone volume (14.1 mm³)(1)
• 73% reduction in unplanned healthcare events* compared with standard ureteroscopy(2)
• Residual stone volume, not stone-free rate, was a predictor of long-term outcomes
These findings reinforce the importance of minimizing residual stone burden to improve meaningful, long-term patient outcomes.

*ED visits, hospitalizations, and retreatments likely due to residual stones at the end of the procedure
