The other day I happened upon this simplified diagram of nerve anatomy in a joint from a physiology book. I love it cause when a joint gets adjusted, these nerves are almost all getting activation (except the pain receptor which actually gets overridden).
Two things keep neurons healthy:
1. Fuel (food and air)
2. Activation
Not only do the nerves get healthy activation at the joint site, but also in every area of the brain where you see a red dot. Thus getting adjusted has a huge impact on the health of your brain and spinal cord (central nerve system). And what does the brain control? 🤔 oh yeah, everything! Meaning that getting adjusted leads to your entire body and mind functioning better and feeling better.
