Hi there 👋. I am Tamara Rodriguez FNP-C. My career in the nursing field started as a CNA in the rehab unit at Downtown Baptist Hospital while I was attending LVN school. I continued working there while going through RN school, and after graduation, went to work in the ER for 4 years. I graduated with my Masters Degree in 2014, where I jumped into Primary Care here in Jourdanton,TX for 2 years. In 2015, I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes and took a deep dive into root cause medicine. I needed time with my new family and learn how to take care of myself. It was a blessing for me. Not only did it force me to live a healthier lifestyle, it guided me to create my own business to help others who are looking for the same. I continue my education every year, taking courses in Anti-aging and Wellness. This is about disease prevention, and healing the body so we don’t need medication. Come visit with me! I would be happy to help you start the new year off on a new pathway geared toward Longevity and Quality of Life!

Today, we will re-introduce Melissa! Melissa joined our team in June of 2024. She is a Master Receptionist! She is one of the first faces to greet you when you walk in and has the best ways of brightening your day. She has experience in fitness and personal training. Her hunger for new knowledge has helped our team bring on new healthcare ideas, and stay up to date with current healthcare trends. Come in and say hi to her! You won’t regret it.

Gloria has been with Rodriguez Health since we opened in 2020. She took a leap of faith being my first employee, and has held on for the ride. She has been in the medical field for over 26 years. She is a certified medical assistant and phlebotomist. If she looks familiar, it is because she has been in the area for 20 years working for Quest Diagnostics prior to joining our team. We started offering our own blood draws in office, to make this more convenient for our patients, and she the expert in that department given her history. Give her a call if you have any questions.

Wyndi, RN joined our team in May 2025. She has been working in the medical field since 2011! First as a pharmacy tech for 6 years, then joined the nursing ranks as an LVN in 2018, working with a focus in Mental Health. She graduated with her RN in 2024 and has worked in the Emergency Room and MedSurge here at our local Methodist Hospital. She is now certified in Colonic Hydrotherapy through I-ACT and is a trained Aesthetic Injector. She continues to learn integrative medicine along side Tamara, and focuses on treating her patients from a whole person perspective. Come in and have a visit with her!
