As the holiday season unfolds, I wanted to share that there will be no in-person or online yoga classes for the next two weeks as I take time to observe the holidays. Classes will resume the week of January 7.
This fall also marked my 10th year as a yoga teacher, and it feels especially meaningful to pause and reflect with gratitude. I am deeply thankful for each of you—whether we meet on the mat in person or online. Your presence, dedication to self-care, and willingness to show up week after week continue to inspire me. Practicing together reminds me that yoga is, at its heart, a shared and living practice.
May this season offer you moments of rest, warmth, and connection. As we move toward the new year, I wish you peace, ease, and gentle beginnings. I look forward to reconnecting with you on the mat in January.

🍁 Fall is here!
As the days grow shorter and the air cools, autumn invites us to pause, breathe deeply, and return to balance. Just as the trees release their leaves, we too can let go of what no longer serves us, and create space for nourishment and renewal.
September is also National Yoga Month, a wonderful reminder of how yoga supports body, breath, and mind. Rolling out your mat, moving with awareness, and connecting with community are simple ways to sustain yourself through the season ahead.

6月14日(金)午前、滋賀県東近江市・興福寺内の Matangi Yoga and Lifeさんにて、特別クラスを開催いたします。
Hosted a pop-up gentle yoga and neurogenic tremoring class this afternoon—grateful for the opportunity to guide participants in rebalancing their nervous systems and easing into the seasonal transition. Excited to bring this unique practice to Matangi Yoga in Japan this June! Stay tuned for details. 🌿✨

The benefits of tremoring vary from person to person—it may help reduce stored stress, improve sleep quality, or promote deep relaxation. Personally, I have been practicing this technique since the COVID-19 pandemic and have experienced its cleansing and restorative effects. I would love for you to experience it for yourself. Hope to see you in class!

September is here, marking the return of children to school and the restoration of life's usual rhythm. This transition provides an ideal opportunity to rekindle your self-care routines. Throughout the summer, we invited our students to focus on heart-centered practices and explore spaciousness within themselves. By cultivating a sense of openness in our minds and bodies, we can navigate life's busyness with greater ease and clarity. As we transition into fall, this sense of spaciousness both on and off the mat remains invaluable.
September is also known as National Yoga Month raising awareness about the numerous benefits of yoga and encouraging people of all ages to incorporate this ancient practice into their lives. We invite you to join us, either virtually or in person for rejuvenating activities. During this month, the Mark Green Sports Center presents special promotions for non-members to partake in yoga or tai chi classes at a reduced rate – just $25 for a 10-visit pass! Whether you're new to yoga or seeking renewed inspiration, come spend an hour of bliss with us.

I had the pleasure of leading a refreshing yoga class at Lake Elizabeth this morning before it got too warm. We soaked in the beauty of the outdoors while staying cool and present. Being in nature is a wonderful way to find peace and listen to the birdsong.

Delightful Yoga specializes in gentle yoga, engaging students in a nurturing, slow-paced practice to support their overall health and well-being. Instruction is given on how to connect breathing and movements, structural alignment, and stretching while gradually gaining strength and flexibility. Each class is taught with a variety of props, such as yoga blankets, blocks, bolsters, and straps. Poses are modified to be accessible to most people.
We offer great classes especially for those new to yoga, tight bodies, or just getting back into practice after a long break. A free, trial class is available for new students. Thank you for your interest and we look forward to seeing you on the mat!
