Leo was having big feelings about not sitting on my lap. We all need to feel seen and heard from time to time. Happy Friday. Your feelings are valid and it is okay to feel them. I probably should have asked him where he felt it in his body, but I didn't this time around. I am sure I will have another opportunity to do this again later.

This. This. This. I can't stand Mel. He puts this into words that I couldn't. I am here to grow. Not everyone here wants to grow and break patterns. We will get further in life with love and compassion than avoidance or just cutting someone off. We have so many people walking around with absolutely no emotional maturity. It ends up hurting people.

This is why continuing education is important. We are learning more and more about autism and symptoms. I remember a year ago talking about the fawning within myself and throughout the years of my life being called rigid for my routines. Hyper empathy has also been a real challenge. We feel every little thing for everyone. Please know you are not alone. Please know there are therapists out there who are committed to learning more about autism and the other traits that show up. Sharing information is helpful. Having the right diagnosis can help with understanding and managing life. Learning to unmask and prioritize self care is so important for our nervous system.
