Open to the Wider Community: Tapping Workshop

Statements reflecting feelings of burnout, low energy, apathy, poor sleep, inner restlessness or agitation, poor concentration, headaches, and so many more have become what feels like the norm for many, especially in an increasingly stress-filled world.

As a result, having tools to be able to help regulate the nervous system is becoming increasingly more necessary, given a multitude of stress impacts which could include any or all of the following: interpersonal relationship stress, career/job stress, financial stress, caretaking stress, political/national stress, climate stress, stress from what impacts our global communities.

The benefit of tapping, specifically, is that it is a tool that is self applied, whenever or wherever you want, and as such, offers empowerment.

The educational component of this workshop will include an introduction to stress and how stress shows up in the body, as well as the role of the stress response system. Following this, there will be a brief introduction to Emotional Freedom Techniques, called Tapping. There will be two experiential opportunities to use tapping in the workshop space so that participants are familiar with how to use it on their own.

Please note- this workshop is educational in nature and not therapy. The cost of the workshop is $20 and is open to individuals 18 years and older.
