The holiday season officially kicked off at BID Milton with our annual employee turkey giveaway! 🦃✨

Thanks to our generous team, we were also able to donate 152 turkeys to local partners—including the Randolph and Weymouth Food Pantries, Randolph Public Schools, and Interfaith Social Services—and take part in a cereal drive for the Milton Food Pantry. All in all, a wonderful start to a season filled with gratitude, community, and giving!

Congrats to the BID Plymouth Lab Team for earning successful accreditation with The College of American Pathologists (CAP)!

This is a significant achievement and demonstrates that the team provides excellence in laboratory medicine services. The team also earned American Association of Blood Banks (AABB) accreditation in September, signifying commitment to the highest standards of quality and safety in blood and biotherapy services.

They’re the “machine” that keeps our hospital moving, ensuring patients get where they need to be safely and on time. Their steady presence offers comfort and support to patients and families during moments of stress or uncertainty. We’re grateful for their dedication and compassionate care every day. 💙

As we celebrate Veterans Day at BID Plymouth, we are deeply thankful for the service, sacrifice, and courage of all who have served.

This week, we proudly recognize Major Rose Almonacid, one of the many heroes we honor. At BID Plymouth, Rose serves as a Quality Improvement Coordinator, helping to create exceptional patient experiences and outcomes. Beyond our walls, she serves in the Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron at Westover Air Reserve Base, with 11 years in the Air Force and three deployments both stateside and overseas.

Now a Flight Commander, Rose leads a team of 15 airmen, ensuring their readiness to deliver care in flight — literally a “hospital in the air.”

We are deeply grateful for Rose’s leadership, compassion, and commitment. ❤️🤍💙
