Meet Dr. Cori Beiersdorf: The Local Eye-Con!

Dr. Cori has been helping people see clearly for nearly 20 years, and she’s spent the last three of those bringing her sharp vision to the 20/20 Visions team. You might recognize her as Dr. Beiersdorf or Dr. Wicklund—but no matter the name, she’s the one making sure you aren’t squinting at the fine print. A Kohler original, Cori finally circled back to her home turf. She’s joined by her husband, Dr. Brad Wicklund (yes, two eye docs in one house—imagine the “look” they can give), and their three daughters: Arlie, Edie, and Roz. Between a 16-year-old and an 11-year-old, she’s professionally trained in spotting an eye-roll from a mile away.

Cori’s career has been a bit of a whirlwind:
-The Professor: She spent 15 years at Lakeshore College teaching future eye care pros how it’s done.
-The Road Warrior: She recently took her skills on the road with mobile optometry for nursing homes.
-The Chatterbox: Her real passion? Patient education. She loves to talk about everything under the sun, but if you get her started on eyeballs, be prepared—she’s got a real pupil for the subject.

When she isn’t peering into retinas, Cori is usually a blur of motion. She’s a firm believer that life happens outdoors, whether she’s: skiing down a mountain, hiking, running, or walking through the local trails, or jet-setting to a new destination. Basically, if there’s fresh air and good company, she’s there. Stop in and say hi—she’d love to see you (and make sure you can see her, too).
