We extend our gratitude to the 'Beads of Serenity' Club from Wayzata High School for showcasing their abilities to our Residents today. We enjoyed the project immensely, but above all, we relished our time visiting with each of you this morning.

Wayzata Bantam B2 Navy had the opportunity to work with Parks’ Place Memory Care residents for their service project. They led the residents in fun activities after their meal service and enjoyed the chance to get to know the residents and Parks’ Place mission! Thank you Bantam B2 Navy for connecting with our Plymouth community residents and demonstrating your commitment to service.

Last week we had to say goodbye to one of our College Activity Assistants Reese Lieser. Today we found this beautiful post she did on Linkedin:

After four wonderful years at Park’s Place Memory Care, my time here has come to a close. It’s hard to sum up what these years have meant to me. I’ve had the privilege of working alongside an incredible team supporting residents and families through some of life’s most complex and challenging moments. The lessons I’ve learned about compassion, patience, and the strength of the human spirit will stay with me forever. I’m so grateful for the relationships built here and the residents who left a lasting mark on my heart. This fall I will be transitioning into a role as a Unit Assistant at the University of Iowa Hospital Emergency Department. I am honored to have the opportunity to work with a team dedicated to supporting individuals in the immediate aftermath of a mental health crisis.

Best of luck to Reese and thank you for your commitment to Parks’ Place the last 4 years in providing Moments of Joy to our reaidents and families.

About Parks’ Place: By our family for your family

Founded in 2018, Parks’ Place was created by a family directly touched by Alzheimer’s disease. Their experience moved them to redefine memory care and create a community where families and residents can feel at home. Parks’ Place offers a meaningfully planned environment and programming that focuses on abilities rather than disabilities—and staff members who are passionate about providing highly personalized care to the people they serve.
