Hey All!! A good friend of mine has just launched her YOGA FOR GOLFERS business so I’m sharing her information if interested.


*With the proper yoga sequence and poses, yoga for golfers is targeted to:

Quiet the mind with proper breathing techniques to achieve focus and relaxation.
Achieve body symmetry, balance, and alignment through the golf swing to increase power.
Enhance flexibility and core development to improve mobility, strength, power, and endurance.

Hey All! Hope you are enjoying summer and staying cool and well.
After three years with no raspberry crop, I finally got a harvest this year!!! Luckily I was able to stay ahead of the squirrels and birds.
Quick tip on what to do with your excess berries. An easy way to save fresh extra berries is to: rinse and dry them, place them in a single layer on a sheet pan and put them in the freeze. Once frozen, transfer to a freezer bag or container. Return them to the freezer until you are ready to eat those yummy little buggers, thaw and enjoy.

I’ll admit it, I didn’t use to be fond of outdoor workouts. But if you ask me what I prefer now, I’ll choose outdoor over indoor any day. I’ve completely changed my attitude! I believe it’s because of all of the extra benefits nature has to offer. Throw in a park bench and/or a picnic table and you can get an awesome full-body workout.

Until we get a handle on the pandemic, we all need to give our minds and bodies extra TLC and engage in just about any and every activity possible that can contribute to supporting our well-being through these tough times. You've got to check out an AWESOME new trainer at BZBody fitness! His name is Micah and he worked me over yesterday! I can't remember that last time I burned over 500 calories in an hour. He's motivating, positive, and enthusiastic. You will be challenged but leave feeling successful, accomplished and sweaty!!

Sample recipe from my new 14-day Eat Healthier-Lose Weight Jump-Start program!
PALEO CHICKEN, TURKEY OR BEEF MEATBALLS
[Makes 3-4 servings] – Adapted from EverydayMaven.com

3/4 cup parsley, coarsely chopped
3 medium cloves garlic
1/4 cup almond meal
1 egg
1 pound chicken, turkey, or beef
1 teaspoon sea salt
1/2 teaspoon ground pepper

Preheat oven to 350° F.

Combine together the coarsely chopped parsley and garlic. Add almond meal, egg, and meat to the bowl, and mix well with your hands. Then add salt and pepper, and mix until thoroughly combined.

Drop tablespoon-sized balls of the mixture onto a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake meatballs for 20 to 25 minutes. Serve warm with marinara sauce or with your favorite vegetable. Enjoy!
