ERS was happy to recently host the monthly training of the Western Wayne County Urban Search and Rescue - USAR Team at our facility in Plymouth. The team ran drills covering multiple disciplines, including Machine Rescue/Extrication, Confined Space Rescue and the use of Twin Tensioned Rope Systems.

It was great to reconnect with this dedicated group of professionals.

▪ June 16-18 in Midland, MI

Our comprehensive program addresses the rescue of arborists, hunters, parachutists, and individuals not already in a harness.

This course explores important safety and operational aspects not found in similar classes. There is a strong emphasis on gaining access to victims and work positioning in trees as well as training on chain saw handling, knowledge of limbing and bucking techniques and safety considerations.

Participants must have previous rope rescue training.
