Participants will learn rope access skills and techniques to reach hard to access locations without the use of scaffolding or elevated work platforms. Come prepared for extensive hands-on training and practical experience and the physical and mental demands of learning and performing specific on-rope maneuvers. Be well rested and plan for a busy four days! All required rope access PPE is provided.

SPRAT Rope Access Training is April 27-30 with the assessment on Friday May 1 at our facility in Plymouth.

Enrollment is limited to 8 ‼️

Participants will learn rope access skills and techniques to reach hard to access locations without the use of scaffolding or elevated work platforms. Come prepared for extensive hands-on training and practical experience and the physical and mental demands of learning and performing specific on-rope maneuvers. Both SPRAT Level 1 and Level 2 training is available.

Our Machine Rescue course is designed to provide emergency responders with the knowledge and skills required to remove individuals from conveyors, lift tables, gear drives, and other simple machinery.

The classroom portion includes modules on hazards, medical considerations and incident command. The hands-on workshops include practice related to stabilization, energy control, disassembly, cutting, and lifting/spreading.

Earlier this month, the Kalamazoo Public Safety Department hosted a five-day Artificial High Directional program presented by ERS International.

Fourteen firefighters from across Michigan attended the training, which covered the use of the Arizona Vortex in numerous configurations and, more importantly, the physics behind those applications.
