Good morning, my friends. Today i am reminded that at a times we all get blocked from our Creator at times. In the past the blockage might last a year or more or in my case a couple decades. Today it might last a few hours or a day. No one among us can avert these blocks 100% as they are part of the human experience. Its what we do next that matters. Good morning, my friends. I have come to believe that the Creator does not save the qualified but instead qualifies the saved. On many occasions He saved me from myself and what should have been certain death. It wasn't until after that He began my qualification in the rooms of Recovery and the deeper understanding of His Grace and Mercy. Have a great day my friends. God speed. KjT

Good morning, my friends. The question is Why worry? In any given situation there are things i can change and things I can't change. Worry is what happens when we focus on those things we can't change. This diverts my attention away from the things I could have done and changes nothing other then leaving me with regret. I have learned to shift my focus to what i can do and let the Creator handle the things I can't. This has proven to be the antidote to worry. Have a great day my friends. God speed. KjT

Good morning, my friends. I have come to believe that we must seek the guidance from our Creator everyday before our feet hit the floor in order to put on our Spiritual Glasses. This allows us to see obstacles and opportunities to serve with clarity and Power. Otherwise we stumble around awkwardly blinded by our difficulties and miss out on the opportunities we may have had. ✨️🌟❄️Employee Spotlight – December❄️✨️🌟

Featuring: 🌟 Breanna DeChon 🌟

Breanna joined the Cognitive Restructuring team in 2024, and from the moment she stepped through our doors, she brought compassion, strength, and a warmth that instantly made her a standout member of our staff.

Originally from Portland, Oregon, Breanna moved to Pocatello in July 2020 in search of a fresh start and to be closer to her family. Today, she is a devoted mother of four young children—four little ones all under the age of four—three girls and one boy, whom she proudly calls the greatest blessings of her life. Breanna believes wholeheartedly that she was meant to be a mom, and her love for her children guides her in everything she does.

Breanna is approaching two and a half years of sobriety after battling alcohol addiction since age 21. Her recovery journey has been marked by courage, perseverance, and a willingness to step outside her comfort zone. Over the past year, especially following the birth of her son, she has committed herself deeply to her mental health, prioritizing healing and growth to protect her sobriety. She continues learning, processing, and working through past trauma—all without alcohol—and her strength inspires everyone around her.

In her year with Cognitive Restructuring, Breanna often says this is the best job she’s ever had. She takes genuine pride in greeting clients with warmth and kindness, often being the first face they see when they walk through our doors. She brightens up the front desk every single day with her positivity, patience, and sincerity. Breanna is truly a great asset to our team—reliable, compassionate, uplifting, and always willing to help where she’s needed. Her lived experience and her heart for others make her an invaluable part of the CR family.

Breanna plans to further her education so she can continue expanding her ability to help others, though she is still exploring which path feels right for her. What we do know is this: wherever she goes and whatever she chooses, Breanna will continue to shine.

Good morning, my friends. I have come to believe the greatest freedom ever known is the freedom from what's between our ears, also known as the bo***ge of self. I have know men serving life in prison who achieved this freedom while being physically confined. I have also know men under no confinement who have not achieved this. This freedom is not freely given and takes work to achieve it and continued work for our lifetime to maintain it. Have a great day my friends. God speed. KjT

Good morning, my friends. I have come to believe the meaning of this day is in the name. Thanks - Giving. This is a day for us to honor our Creator for the opportunities he provides us in serving others. Many of us have only been afforded this by His Grace and Mercy. Good morning, my friends. I have come to believe that being of maximum service to others does not mean it is reciprocal. We must always remember that we deal with very spiritually sick people at times that are drawn to us by the light that shines from within us and their desperation to find their way out of the darkness. They stumble and fall and we give them a stabilizing hand up. They can be ungrateful to which we respond with gratitude, they can be angry and intolerant to which we show them love and tolerance. Good morning, my friends. In my experience one of the disciplines identified in the maintenance steps is that we practice Loving Kindness. To me thus simply means be nice to people, hold the door, give a smile, say something that brings others up instead of tearing them down. In other words be of maximum service. I would love to say I have mastered this practice but honesty is also one of the disciplines. Today my friends let's focus on the discipline of Loving Kindness and see what happens. Good morning friends. Live life to the fullest. True and honest, begin with yourself and extend it to others. Use your words wisely. Words have power and create influence, do not spread them carelessly. Negative words create negative energy and repel those around you. Live in the positive.
Leave your 'stamp' on everything you do. Make yourself an icon to be admired and respected. Become an inspiration to others-so think carefully before you speak and act.
