Can I take a moment to express a little bit of gratitude?
Many of you know my son had a traumatic brain injury in 2023. I consider myself lucky to still have him here with me, and I see improvements in him all the time. He's still with us, he responds, he has periods where I know he is aware, and I know he still wants to fight and is fighting. How do I know? A mother knows...always.
I thank all of you who have stuck with me despite the --closed at random hours of the day times...the inconsistent social media posts...the moving of appointments.
I am truly blessed to have grown up and stayed in this community to raise my children, because we truly live in one of the kindest states and cities in the country. Great people who are family oriented, and who can show empathy despite some not having gone through a similar situation. Unfortunately some have gone through a similar situation, and then we just cry together.
I do have some exciting announcements that I WILL get to here soon I promise. In the mean time, keep being the kind souls that you are. You really do never know what kind of "life" things people are struggling to get through. God bless.
