🧠 Our Quail Ridge residents & team members were honored to hear from our special guest speaker, Dean, from the Poky for Parkys Parkinson’s Support Group, during our monthly Feed Your Mind presentation yesterday.

🩶 Thank you so much, Dean, for taking the time to share your personal story, thoughtfully answer questions, and explain the ins and outs of Parkinson’s disease to our residents. Your openness and insight made a meaningful impact on everyone who attended.

🗓️ If you or someone you know is living with Parkinson’s, the Poky for Parkys Support Group meets on the second Wednesday of every month at 3 p.m. at the Pocatello Senior Center.

We had the pleasure of welcoming Michael Smith back to sing for our Quail Ridge residents, and it was truly special. ❤️🎶 Michael puts so much heart into learning our residents’ favorite songs from years past, creating moments filled with joy, memories, and meaningful connection. Seeing our residents reminisce and reconnect with their past through music is such a gift. Thank you, Michael, for sharing your time and incredible talent with us — we're so grateful! 🌳🔍 Our residents discovered some surprises when they made a trip to Friends of Pocatello Idaho FamilySearch Center — uncovering parts of their family histories they never expected, parts they had lost or forgotten, and even parts that were in need of correction.

🎂 One big surprise was JoAnn finding a photo of her father, a baker, with one of his cake creations, a rarity since her father hated having his picture taken. Now, she has a copy of the photo to treasure and remember her father by.

🖌️ Our residents spent time expressing themselves through the therapeutic art of watercolor painting. 🎨 With soft colors, steady brushstrokes, and plenty of imagination, they created some truly beautiful pieces!

Activities like this not only spark creativity but also bring calm, joy, and connection to our community. We love seeing our residents shine! 🌟

🐅❤️🌿 Our residents had an absolutely wonderful time at our "Wild Thing, I Think I Love You" Valentine’s Event this week!

We were thrilled to welcome the incredible Michael Smith, who filled the room with music, laughter, and dancing—he even had our crowd up on their feet! 💃 One of the sweetest moments of the afternoon was crowning our 2026 Sweetheart King and Queen, a couple that has been married almost 70 years! 🥰👑

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this celebration full of joy, love, and community. 💕
