Cancer doesn’t just affect one person.
It touches the whole family.

Appointments.
Medications.
Quiet worries.
Long days.
Small moments of hope.

Behind every person in treatment
is someone doing their best to hold everything together.

On World Cancer Day, we honor the families and caregivers who show up with love, patience, and strength through every step.

Home care doesn’t cure cancer.
But it offers something meaningful during difficult seasons:
support, stability, and a caring team by your side.

At ProHealth Professional HomeCare, we are honored to walk alongside families through the journey.

💙 You are not alone.
💙 We are here.

What We Do at ProHealth Professional HomeCare

Not everyone needs the same kind of care 🤍
And no family should have to figure it out alone 🤝

At ProHealth Professional HomeCare, we provide
👶 Private Duty Nursing for children
and
👵👦 Personal Care Services for adults and kids who need daily support

That means real people showing up in real homes 🏡 to help with things like
💊 medications
🩺 medical care
🚶‍♂️ mobility
📅 daily routines
and 🫶 peace of mind

We are there when life feels overwhelming 🌧️
We help families breathe easier 😌
We help people stay safe, stable, and cared for at home 🛏️

This is not one size fits all care.
This is care built around your child, your loved one, and your life 💙

Because home is where dignity, comfort, and healing belong ✨

🦫 Groundhog Day at ProHealth Professional HomeCare

Today the groundhog saw his shadow, which means six more weeks of winter.
Cold mornings, long nights, and a whole lot of staying close to home.

And as promised, this month we’re sharing stories.
Some are fictional, but all are inspired by the real families and real moments we see every day.

💙 A Story from ProHealth Professional HomeCare
(This is a fictional story inspired by the families we serve.)

In a small Idaho home, there’s a little boy named Elliot who loves space, bedtime stories, and asking a million questions about how things work.

Elliot also happens to need skilled nursing care at home every day.

Before ProHealth Professional HomeCare came into his life, Elliot’s parents felt like they were constantly bracing for the next emergency. They didn’t know who would be coming into their home each day. They didn’t know if the nurse who showed up would understand Elliot’s equipment, his routine, or the tiny signs that told them something wasn’t right.

They were tired.
Not just physically, but emotionally from living in uncertainty.

That’s when a care planner from ProHealth sat down with them and said, “Let’s build this together.”

Together, they created a plan of care designed specifically for Elliot.
His medications.
His feeding schedule.
His respiratory needs.
His comfort routines.
His favorite songs.

They matched him with a small, consistent team of nurses who got to know him not just as a patient, but as a child.

Now, when Elliot wakes up on cold winter mornings, he knows who is walking through the door.
His parents know their son is safe.
And their home feels calm instead of chaotic.

That is what ProHealth Professional HomeCare does every day.

We plan ahead.
We listen.
We advocate.
We show up.

Because when winter feels long and the days feel heavy, families shouldn’t also have to carry uncertainty.

We are honored to walk alongside the families we serve. 💙

🦫 Groundhog Day at ProHealth Professional HomeCare

No matter what the groundhog predicts,
planning ahead makes all the difference in home care.

When you’re caring for a child or adult who depends on daily support, the future shouldn’t feel uncertain.

We know you’re already juggling so much. 💜

At ProHealth Professional HomeCare, care planning means
✨ Knowing who’s coming into your home
✨ Having the right nurse or caregiver scheduled
✨ Making sure care continues even when life throws curveballs
✨ Creating a plan of care designed specifically to meet your child’s or loved one’s unique needs
✨ Helping families feel prepared instead of overwhelmed

Whether it’s Private Duty Nursing or Personal Care Services, thoughtful planning turns unknowns into stability and that changes everything.

💙 Because your loved one deserves consistency, not surprises.

Welcome to February from ProHealth Professional HomeCare 💙

February is Rare Disease Month, a time to recognize and honor the children and families living with complex and often rare medical conditions. At ProHealth, we are privileged to care for many of these incredible kids through Private Duty Nursing, helping them receive the skilled care they need in the comfort of their own homes.

We also provide Personal Care Services for adults and children, supporting daily living, independence, and safety across all ages.

This month, we’ll be sharing more about the families we serve, the nurses and caregivers who make home care possible, and why access to home based care matters so deeply to our community.

We are honored to be part of your care journey 💙

About Us

ProHealth has had the privilege of providing care to Idaho residents of Bannock and surrounding counties for over two decades. The company was founded with one simple desire: to help others.

We are a smaller agency that can give the personalized attention you need. All decisions regarding services are made locally, not by a distant corporation. The rural setting of Southeast Idaho can present special circumstances. With our vast experience, we have learned how to provide service our clients need.
